We like a boot sale, the missus and I
To pass a Sunday morning by
Get a CD you may have missed
A favourite film, hard to resist
Maybe a pair of jeans for work
With loads of other clothes they lurk
Yes, used to be able to get good stuff
But now it's just a load of guff
Walking around, need your wellies
Hungover men with big fat bellies
Lots of things that no-one needs
A warning, then, that you should heed
When you fancy passing time
At a boot sale, remember this rhyme
That at a stall, if you should stop
It's better coming from a shop
Don't go out, stay home instead
And spend Sunday morning in your bed

I am a queen of the booties....love them!....was meant to go to one today but got up late and have had a lazy morning, I get withdrawals though if I don't go tee hee!
I love car boots! I meant to go this morning as well but forgot and like @misslittleDHP I have had a lazy morning!
Just got back from one. It's not often I get bargains nowadays but this morning was the exception - bought a Canon SX 220 HS camera, absolutely perfect condition and currently in the shops at £200 for a tenner ! and a first edition of John Lennons' In His Own Write ( pristine condition - £100 on e-bay) for £1 !
@leelee101 not sure what a boot sale is but I like the sentiment of the piece. Especially the last line!
You haven't lived until you've been to a car boot....I can be wearing an entire new outfit for £1.50...not the knickers mind you, that would just be WRONG! :):):)
